Everyone was so welcoming. Doris spent time with us telling us the history of the hotel and even helped us numerous times with our German speaking skills.

We were given brand new rooms that were in a second building (not this one pictured) 3 buildings down the street. They were incredible. The entire building was outstanding in terms of being modern and comfortable.

This is a medieval town walled in with many towers that allow access to the town. Just about every building is photogenic with various beams, window sizes with flower boxes overflowing with flowers, etc. It is a photographer’s dream. But there are also restaurants, cafes, stores, a large, lovely church plus there are lovely gardens, paths, ponds, and woodlands circling the walls on the outside. It would be good for a one or two night visit. There is hoever little parking inside the walls but many parking places outside the walls.

A great variety of restaurants and hotels within a short walk.
A lovely museum with the history of the town from its beginning and
during the middle ages. Best to leave cars outside the town and walk along the cobblestones.

The hotel property was fantastic!!!!!
The hotel property was fantastic!!!!! Just 4 weeks old it reeks of newness, in a good way. Very friendly staff, they seemed to have a great plan at this early stage for how they want to engage with guests. Almost everyone spoke English which made it very easy to communicate despite the distance from a major population area. The breakfast was included in the price as was unlimited use of the sauna and pool facilities. Not once did my wife complain that we weren't getting our moneys worth :) The warm water pool on the top of the hotel was especially fun after sunset when there are fewer people. My wife had a massage and was ecstatic. She wants to bring her daughter back for a girls only spa weekend. Which brings us to the point of what type of visitors would love this property. Couples seeking romance and relaxation, definitely. We saw couples of all types and singles with their laptops in need of getaway. I only saw one family there but it could be a fun place for them as well.
On the bad side, finding a place for dinner was extremely difficult as every restaurant was solidly booked and required reservation. We ended up at a small place just outside the town gates and well as my mom would say, if you don't have anything good to say just keep quiet. The following morning at breakfast we received the evening menu in the handout. That was a bit of a disappointment as we would have definitely loved to have tried it out. Next time!!
To sum it up, we loved it and expect to return.

Absolutely lovely town.
Absolutely lovely town. Not very touristy, which really allows you to connect with the locals. There was great shopping with many boutiques, great restaurants serving delicious franconian cuisine and great opportunities for photos. I really enjoyed Cafe Haugen, Cafe am Munster, and Vino and Pane. Cafe Central was also fantastic. The town had great hospitality and everyone seemed so friendly here.

The town has great atmosphere and is immaculate in every way. Picturesque buildings, typical Bavarian style and colours.
Lots of bars and restaurants and all in all a great place to spend a couple of nights.

Beautiful old walled town.
Beautiful old walled town. Most buildings are preserved and well kept. Beautiful walks all around the many towers and along the riverside. Excellent Tourist Information with guided tours and night watchman tours. For the foot weary there are tours in covered horse-drawn wagons. Plenty of restaurants with several places that serve food they actually cook rather than convenience food. Tiny restaurant with brewery recommended.
Hotel design and decoration are to be mentioned. Truly a Design Hotel! Nice and practical rooms, modern and spacious bathroom with large rain shower in Superior Room.
Location is just perfect. Walking distance to Dinkelsbühl old town. Easy access by car, just 100 meters from main route, convenient and nearby parking house.
Breakfast is superb! Great variety and quality of products offered. Excellent presentation, roomy and a very clean buffet area.
First, the hotel is relatively newly renovated and uniquely designed (the swings in the room and swinging bed in the spa area were great). Secondly, the spa area were also very nice and relaxing (although, the pool was unique with great views, but it was a little bit too small during the peak time). Finally, the restaurant was also nice and moderately priced. Would really consider coming back here.
P.S., parking was also comfy
Our first trip to beautiful Dinkelsbühl and our first stay at Hotel Piazza. A great hotel with a great location in the middle of the town, with their own restaurant. The room was great, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even if only german was spoken and I had to use my school german. We can really recommend a visit to Dinkelsbühl and Hotel Piazza!
Everything is amazing about this place. The family who runs the hotel is super friendly. Here Joachim made sure upon our arrival that we have everything we need for breakfast the next day (which btw. was delicious).
The location is amazing, right next to the Town hall. The rooms are lovely, spacious and clean, keeping the air from the old building.
Loved the staff. Loved the restaurant, the breakfast, the town, the ability to see other towns from Dinkelsburg. Big bed, lovely shower. Oh, and the infinity pool! Wish I'd been there when the sauna was open but I'm a morning person. Even got to see the farmer's market. And the nearby restaurants are also good.
The breakfast was very good with a wide variety of options. The staff was very accommodating and even provided us with some pretzels for the road. Overall, a very good hotel. The bathroom was a little underwhelming and there were no face cloths to wash your body. Maybe its not popular in Germany
Great location within 2 minutes of town centre and restaurants. Large room with comfortable bed and good facilities. Secure private parking. Very friendly and helpful owners. Restaurant was closed the days we were there but received very good recommendations from the hotel. Good breakfast.
This hotel was a great surprise. I was on a business trip and booked it for one night. it extremely exceeded my expectations and really wished that I could stay longer. The design, the rooms, and the whole atmosphere is just artistic. loved it
This hotel was completely renovated and so was modern and very comfortable inside while outside it was traditional looking. The service was high class and the breakfast was also lovely. Great value for money (we are spoilt now).
The hotel is in a great position and the building deserve a visit. Rooms are big and comfortable (but no air conditioning, at least in our room). Good parking service. The restaurant is very good, be sure to reserve a table.
Stumbled across this hotel last minute! Our room was stunning with a second floor loft! I just wish we were able to spend more time at this hotel! our next time to Germany, We’ll be sure to book this hotel again!
Excellent location. Charming clean room. But, it was the staff that made this a beautiful stay. All the employees, from the maids to the front desk staff, made this hotel a joy to stay at. I definitely recommend.
Loved every detail in the hotel, felt like we lived in a mansion in middle ages. Must stop at this place and especially in this hotel if you travelling through the romantic road.
Location was brilliant. Free town parking very close by. Breakfast was exceptional and hotel restaurant with traditional specialities great too. Staff were incredibly helpful.
Everything was perfect. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We had dinner in their restaurant, delicious fresh food. Breakfast was great, especially the Kaffe.
A lovely apartment located near the restaurants and main attractions of delightful Dinkelsbuhl. The apartment was very comfortable and tastefully decorated.
Everyone was so welcoming. Doris spent time with us telling us the history of the hotel and even helped us numerous times with our German speaking skills.
